Map Tutorial

Overview#

The Map module covers three major map-related scenarios in FlightHub 2:
Map Annotation: Create / update / delete / sync map annotations (points, lines, polygons, custom layers) within a workspace.
Offline Map: Query the metadata and download URL of offline maps under the workspace, used for pre-loading map tiles in device offline scenarios.
Airspace Safety: Query the custom flight area file list and download links, and subscribe to device airspace alert events.
Annotations, flight areas, and offline maps are all isolated at the workspace_id scope. Before calling, you need to first confirm workspace_id (project UUID) through the Organization & Project interfaces.
The annotation sync interface GET /openapi/v2.0/map/data-sync/files/{workspace_id}/{business_id}/{type} returns a GeoJSON FeatureCollection file, which can be directly fed to map components such as Mapbox/Leaflet.

Call steps:

Map Annotation Management: After the user finishes drawing an annotation on the third-party cloud map, call Create Map Annotation (POST /openapi/v2.0/map/element) to create it; subsequent updates or deletions can be done via PUT/DELETE; to get the full set of annotations (including those created by others), call GET /openapi/v2.0/map/data-sync/files/... to sync GeoJSON.

Offline Map Distribution: First call Get Offline Map Details (GET /openapi/v2.0/workspaces/{workspace_id}/offline-maps) to get the metadata of offline maps under the workspace, then use Get Offline Map URL (GET /openapi/v2.0/workspaces/{workspace_id}/offline-maps/url) to obtain a signed download URL, and push it to devices / third-party clients for download.

Flight Area Distribution: Use Get Flight Area List (Project Scope) (GET /openapi/v2.0/flight-areas) (or the workspace version) to get the flight area list, then use Get Flight Area File URL (GET /openapi/v2.0/flight-areas/url) to get the file URL, and distribute it to devices/clients.

Airspace Alerts: Periodically call GET /openapi/v2.0/workspaces/{workspace_id}/air-sense-warnings to query airspace alert events, used for safety monitoring of flight scheduling.
