A. Vcity.ai: The Decentralized AI Computing Power Revolution

1)Background and Vision: In the era of rapid AI development, computing power has become one of the most important factors of production. However, the current AI computing market exhibits severe centralization characteristics: a few tech giants monopolize most high-end GPU resources, while small and medium enterprises and individual developers face the dilemma of expensive and difficult-to-obtain computing power. Meanwhile, there exists a vast amount of idle GPU resources globally—from off-peak hours in data centers, idle time of personal high-end graphics cards, and equipment from cryptocurrency miners transitioning to other uses—these resources are not being effectively utilized, causing enormous waste.
Vcity.ai, as a revolutionary Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network (DePIN) for AI computing, aims to fundamentally solve this structural contradiction. Through blockchain technology’s trust mechanism and incentive system, we integrate globally distributed GPU resources into a unified computing pool, achieving democratized access and efficient utilization of computing resources.
2)Technical Architecture and Innovation: The Vcity.ai system employs a carefully designed threelayer architecture, with each layer deeply optimized to ensure system efficiency, reliability, and scalability:
Trust Layer: Built on the Vorn Network high-performance public chain, leveraging its powerful consensus mechanism and smart contract capabilities to achieve registration, verification, and settlement of computing resources. By recording every computing contribution and consumption on-chain, we ensure complete system transparency and auditability. We innovatively introduce a ”Proof of Computing” mechanism that ensures the claimed computing power is genuinely available through regular benchmarks and random spot checks.
Compute Layer: Composed of globally distributed GPU nodes that connect to the network through specialized client software. We have developed advanced task scheduling algorithms that intelligently match the most suitable computing resources based on task characteristics (training vs. inference, model size, latency requirements, etc.). More importantly, we have implemented a cross-node distributed training protocol that allows large model training tasks to be split and executed in parallel across multiple nodes, greatly improving training efficiency.
Application Layer: Provides simple and easy-to-use interfaces for end users and enterprises. Developers can directly call computing resources through APIs without concerning themselves with complex underlying scheduling logic. We provide rich SDKs and toolchains supporting seamless migration of mainstream frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch. Additionally, we have developed a graphical task management interface, allowing non-technical users to easily use AI computing services.

Efficient and Trustworthy Computing Verification: We innovatively combine zero-knowledge proofs and verifiable computing technology to ensure the correctness of computation results without repeated execution. This not only protects model intellectual property but also greatly reduces verification costs. Through automatic verification and settlement via on-chain smart contracts, we eliminate trust issues of traditional centralized platforms.
Distributed Task Elastic Scheduling: Our scheduling system can monitor the status of all nodes in the network in real-time, including multi-dimensional metrics such as computing power, bandwidth, and latency. When a node fails or experiences performance degradation, the system can automatically migrate tasks to other nodes, ensuring task continuity. This elastic scheduling mechanism enables us to provide 99.9
Confidential Computing and Privacy Protection: By integrating trusted execution environment technologies such as Intel SGX and AMD SEV, we achieve end-to-end encryption protection for private models and sensitive data. Model owners can confidently deploy training tasks to unknown nodes without worrying about intellectual property leakage. Multiple Incentive Mechanisms: We have designed an elaborate token economic model that not only rewards computing power providers’ contributions but also incentivizes long-term staking, network maintenance, ecosystem building, and other behaviors. Through dynamic adjustment of reward parameters, we ensure supply-demand balance and long-term healthy network development.
4)Three Core Services: Vcity.ai provides three core service systems around different levels of user needs:
AI Computing Services (IaaS - Infrastructure as a Service): This is our foundational service, directly benchmarking against GPU instances from traditional cloud providers like AWS and Google Cloud. However, our costs are only 30-50% of traditional cloud services while providing more flexible billing methods—per-second billing, spot instances, reserved discounts, etc. Supporting various scales from single cards to thousand-card clusters, meeting diverse scenarios from individual developers to large enterprises.
AI Solution Services (PaaS - Platform as a Service): We are not satisfied with merely providing raw computing power but extend further upstream to provide end-to-end AI solutions for vertical industries. For example, in the cultural tourism sector, we provide complete services including intelligent tour guides, personalized recommendations, and visitor flow prediction; in education, we provide intelligent grading, personalized teaching, knowledge graph construction, and other functions. These pre-trained models and standardized interfaces enable traditional enterprises to quickly embrace AI transformation.
AI Agent Services (AaaS - Agent as a Service): This is our most forward-looking service. As AI technology develops, agents will become important participants in the digital world. We provide a complete agent lifecycle management platform—from training and deployment to trading. Creators can publish their trained AI models (such as virtual idols, intelligent assistants, creation tools, etc.) as NFTs for free trading in the market. After buyers obtain usage or ownership rights, they can deploy these agents in various scenarios, achieving assetization and value circulation of AI and its derivative content.
